Red Raiders open season against Stephen F. Austin
The Texas Tech football schedule for 2023 was released on Thursday, and the Red Raiders will open the season at home against Stephen F. Austin on Sept. 2.
Non-conference schedule
Texas Tech will also host New Mexico on Sept. 9 and UTEP on Sept. 16 before opening Big 12 play at Kansas on Sept. 23.
The Red Raiders will have a bye week on Oct. 14 before traveling to West Virginia on Oct. 21.
Conference schedule
Texas Tech's Big 12 schedule includes home games against Oklahoma (Oct. 7), Texas (Oct. 28), and Kansas State (Nov. 11).
The Red Raiders will travel to Iowa State (Sept. 30), TCU (Oct. 28), Baylor (Nov. 4), and Oklahoma State (Nov. 18).
Season finale
Texas Tech will close the regular season at home against Texas A&M on Nov. 25.
