Mbappes Brace Leads Psg To Champions League Quarterfinal

Kylian Mbappé Continues to Impress on the Big Stage

Mbappé's Brace Leads PSG to Champions League Quarterfinal

Mbappé and Pochettino Put Past Differences Aside

Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé has once again demonstrated his penchant for the big stage as his deadly brace helped fire his team into the Champions League quarterfinal.

Mbappé scored twice in PSG's 2-0 win over Real Sociedad in the second leg of their last-16 tie, sending the French champions through with a 4-0 aggregate victory. The goals were Mbappé's eighth and ninth of the season in all competitions, and they continue his impressive run of form since returning from injury in October.

Mbappé's performance was particularly impressive given the speculation surrounding his future at PSG. The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent months, and there have been reports of a rift between him and PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino.

However, after the match, Mbappé insisted that he has no problem with Pochettino and is fully focused on helping PSG achieve success this season.

"I have a good relationship with the coach," Mbappé said. "I am happy to play for PSG, and I want to win trophies for this club."

Pochettino was also full of praise for Mbappé after the match, saying that he is "a world-class player" who is still improving.

"Kylian is a special player," Pochettino said. "He is still young, but he has already achieved so much. I am delighted to have him in my team."

Mbappé's goals against Real Sociedad were his fourth and fifth in the Champions League this season, and he is now the joint-top scorer in the competition alongside Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski.

With Mbappé in such impressive form, PSG will be confident of going all the way in the Champions League this season. They have been drawn against Bayern Munich in the quarterfinal, but Mbappé will back himself to score against anyone.
